After 3 whole days and 2 nights in the vet hospital, he’s finally home! He had blocked colon some kind of parasite in his intestines, and he was barfing for 24 hours straight. He got severely dehydrated because he would throw up any water and/or formula I squeezed in his mouth with the syringe. He was even getting cold – he was on death’s door that’s for sure. I was freaking out. I was crying my eyes out, seeing him lying on that cold, stainless steel table, lifeless. It happened so fast too, in one day he was running around here like a holy terror, then next day he was throwing up non-stop.
Now he’s feeling better, his bandage is off and his little nose is cold and wet again. He’s eating and drinking and purring up a storm, so happy to be out of the ‘cage’ at the vet’s. He’s so happy to home and feeling better, he’s way more cuddly than he used to be! I just love this little guy, and I’m so happy he’s ok. Now I just have to pay the bill!!
OH! Speaking of that…. thanks for the great magazine sales! I’ve sold a bunch and will list more great bargains to replace the ones sold. I have others on my site for cheap cheap too!
Oh my poor little Goliath is sick and still at the ‘hospital’. The vet said he would call me today if I could come pick him up, but no call. I am sitting on pins and needles waiting to talk to them, when they get back in the office tomorrow.
