Finally, this weekend I had a creative burst.  I had painted a canvas black to cover a ‘background experiment gone wrong’ and I a woman’s face popped into my head.  I sketched her on and started to paint. 

I still need to get her shadowing done, but it’s a start.  I named her Simone.

Her hair was achieved using heavy gel medium.

I have no idea what the background wil be yet.  I usally start with the bg, but she evolved first this time.
