Correction…. I saw the ad for Caroline and immediately though it was a Tim Burtan film, but it’s not… it’s directed by Henry Selick, who also directed A Nightmare Before Christmas. Thanks to Karen for setting me straight.
It’s not even playing in my tiny town… I have to either go to Coos Bay or Eugene to see it.
Coraline.com is the movie site and there’s cool things to do on there, like making neat-o flowers or giving yourself button eyes. {In the movie, the villiness likes to steal children’s souls and sew buttons in their eye sockets}
Here are my creepy pictures…

Wow these are quite creepy and so fun!! They would make a cool avatar.
However will you be able to drive to the theater much less see the movie with buttons for eyes? If you are able to see anything please let me know how you liked the show.
My daughter and I are big Tim Burton fans too, and we loved Coraline (got to see it on Friday). But…it’s actually not a Tim Burton film. It was written by the equally fabulous Neil Gaiman, and directed by Henry Selick. I think the film looks Burton-ish because Selick also directed Nightmare Before Christmas.
Thought you might want to know because if you’re interested in Tim Burton, you might really like the work of these other folks too. :)

Thank you Karen for pointing that out – I’m such a dork! LOL
