Taking advantage of the high 70s temp today, we took the Jeep out on the beach for a quick run before dinner.  We headed out the South Jetty and went down about 6 miles, before turning around and heading back.  About 4 miles down there was a huge patch of crushed shells that the surf was bringing up on shore.  What was intiquing was the pattern they were laying in.  The ocean was depositing them in strips.
